Parent Care is a program from the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation providing free professional mental health support to eligible families.

  • Call your healthcare provider or 911 for immediate help
  • Call the Access Mental Health Help Line +1-877-303-2642 (Toll free). A 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 days a year, confidential service that provides support, information, and referrals to Albertans experiencing mental health concerns.
  • Call the Distress Centre for crisis services. They are available 24/7 via phone or online chat and text.
  • For information & advice on Health call 811
  • For parents whose babies are in the NICU: there are support services available at the NICU such as clinical psychologists and social workers.
